Getting here

The last building on the road

    By car

    Follow the road from the south until it ends in Carrick Staithe. The car park sits beside the harbour and is free for guests after five.

  2. 02

    On foot

    From the car park, take the coast path north past the dunes. It is a gentle walk along the top of the shore, and the kiln lights show the way after dark.

  3. 03

    By bus

    The coastal bus stops at the harbour. Tell us when you book and we can move your sitting to suit the last bus home.

Good to know

Can I walk in without a booking?

Often, yes. We keep the hearth counter free for walk ins at lunch. In the evening it is worth booking ahead.

Is the restaurant accessible?

The long dining room is on one level with step free access from the car park, and there is an accessible toilet. The Cellar Table is down a flight of stone steps.

Are dogs welcome?

Dogs are welcome in the front of the dining room at lunch, with a bowl of water by the door.

Can you cook for allergies?

Tell us when you book and we will plan around it. Everything is cooked around one fire in one kitchen, so we cannot promise a plate free of traces.
